MAPPING THE NOTIFICATION

Before any screen, the IA fixed three ways to narrow the inbox and the six categories every message belongs to.

Component 01

Notif card

Unread notifications

  • For single accounts (no other enrolled accounts) [ Hide Account Name chip ]
  • For multiple enrolled accounts [Display Account Name chip]
  • Unread notifications should have a red dot to signify they are unread
  • After ticking the checkbox, the red dot should NOT disappear
  • Ticking the checkbox should change the color of the entire notif card to better signify it is selected
  • Notification title and body should be a one liner

Read notifications

  • Read Notifications should no longer have red dots
  • Should use a lighter bg color than Unread notifications

Urgent action card

  • This card state should NOT have a check box with it
  • This card should be displayed at the very top even if there are more recent notifs
  • Should there be multiple urgent notif cards, display them all like this and arrange them chronologically
  • When user taps on Primary CTA they get redirected to the CTA flow
  • Mark as read button changes the card state to the Read State
  • After marking this notif as ‘Read’ the Primary CTA should still be present in the notification modal

Component 03

Category slider

  • Horizontal scroll
  • User can select one chip at a time
  • When a user selects a notification or ticks the Select All checkbox, they cannot switch categories anymore [ CHANGE TO INACTIVE STATES EXCEPT THE SELECTED STATE]
  • When a user mutes a category, it should update the category chip

Component 04

Option bar

Select all checkbox

  • Unticked State - no notifications selected
  • Dash State - at least one notification is selected
  • Ticked State - all notifications are selected

Mark as read / Delete / Cancel

  • These options should only be present when (1) User ticks a notification (2) User ticks Select All checkbox
  • Cancel button should deselect all selected notifications and change the option bar to it’s previous state

All notifs / Unread only tab

  • Unread Only Tab - filters notifications to show only unread notifications. IF there are 0 unread notifications, display empty state
  • Default should be in All Notifications

Confirm modals

Mark as read modal

  • If the user is on the Unread notifications tab, the notifications marked as read should disappear and only appear when users click the all (Read + Unread) notifications tab
  • If the user has marked all notifications as read, the red dot should disappear
  • Don’t show this next time checkbox, when ticked, should not show this modal the next time user marks a notification as read

Delete notification modal

  • ‘Yes, delete’ should delete the notifications from the notif inbox
  • If there are no notifications left, display empty states

Customize alerts

Customize alerts modal

  • All Categories checkbox becomes a dash when one or more categories are unticked
  • By default, Apply changes button should be inactive
  • Apply changes button becomes active once there has been changes to the alert settings
  • If user customizes the alerts and taps close button, no changes will be applied

Multiple accounts

  • Users can select which account to customize
  • They will not have an option to customize All Accounts and therefore should not see this option in the dropdown

PMEA guidelines

  • Message title character limit: 70 Characters
  • Body character limit: 250 Characters
  • Date and Time Stamp of notification should be included in the content of the message
